New Orleans Four 60th Anniversary Proclamation Day at Gallier Hall
In 2020, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and other City Council Officials originally planned to celebrate the four living legends who became the first African Americans to integrate formerly all white public elementary schools in New Orleans and the Deep South with a three day weekend of events to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Desegregation.
However, due to Covid-19 mandates the event had to be changed. Currently, the Producers of the event are working to transform The New Orleans Four Legacy Tribute into a made for television special stay tuned for updates. LEARN MORE
