New Orleans School Desegregation

On November 14, 2020, Didtrict E City Council Member Cyndi Nguyen led the City Council of New Orleans in hosting The New Orleans Four Proclamation Day Ceremony at Gallier Hall located on St. Charles Ave, during the 3rd phase of the Covid-19 shutdown. Only 150 ivited guests were allowed to attend the outdoor event. Each of the Civil Rights Pioneers received a Proclamation from the City Council and they received the Key to the City from Mayor LaToya Cantrell, the first female Mayor of the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.
